The Legendary Men: Rolling Stones

I don't think that there are people who don't know about the Rolling Stones, so I just want to introduce the band to you. The Rolling Stones is an English rock band formed in London (1962) within the leadership of Brian Jones and pianist Ian Stewart. Afterwards, vocalist Mick Jagger and guitarist Keith Richards joined the band too.The band's early songs were mostly R&B. After achieving their first success in the UK, they became popular in the US during the British Invasion. Their 1965 single "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction” was the key to their unbelieavable success in the whole world. Brian Jones died in 1969 shortly after being fired from the band and was replaced by Mick Taylor. The Rolling Stones have released 22 studio albums in the UK (24 in the US), eight concert albums (nine in the US). Moreover, the band have sold more than 200 million albums worldwide. In 1989 The Rolling Stones were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and in 2004 they were ranked number 4 in Rolling Stone magazine's 100 Greatest Artists of All Time.
